Tours & Events Director schedules the car cruises, lunches, parades and other fun activities. The following calendar is the most up-to-date list of what is scheduled so far.
January
1/28 - Kart Racing at Octane Raceway & Dinner at The White Chocolate Grill- Scottsdale: The first club event of the year was Go Kart racing at Octane Raceway located in Scottsdale. What a BLAST....! Following an afternoon of tearing up the track, we had a marvelous dinner at The White Chocolate Grill.
February
2/21 - Cruise-in & Burgers at G's Burgers - Cornville: Lot's of fun.... Great weather.... And, great food...! G's Burgers located in Cornville. What a BLAST....!
March
3/12 - 46th Annual St Patrick's Day Parade & Lunch at Cork & Catch (Cottonwood): BRRRRRRRRRR...! The annual St Patrick's Day parade was CHILLY...! The crowd was a little smaller this year, but still enthusiastic. After the parade, the group cruised over to Cottonwood for a great lunch at The Cork & Catch. A great time was had by all......

4/16 - Sedona Winds Car Display: A cloudy day in paradise... The Sedona Car Club was back at Sedona Winds Retirement Community with a small car display. We were well received by many of the residents, and ran into some old friends. A number of the residents are former car club members.. A great time was had by all......
May
5/08 - Mother's Day Brunch: This year, it was a bit chilly, but sunny and bright! The clouds came in just as we were leaving, thank goodness. A large group of 37 enjoyed dining outside on the patio at The Table at Junipine. Our thanks the restaurant staff for a job well done. The club always enjoys coming up to Junipine...!
June
6/15 - Annual Picnic: The annual club picnic was held, again, at the Chavez Crossing Campground. It was an amazing day. The weather was warm, but there was a cool breeze under the sycamore trees. Ahhhhhhhh, sunny day, cool breeze, great picnic food and cold beer (or wine)...! The group enjoyed the day. This year's picnic was a resounding success because of the last minute efforts by a number of Club members. Many Thanks..!

Summer Hiatus - No Events
August
8/25 - Hopi Lands Tour: This month's event was a guided tour of Hopi Lands by Blue Feather Tours, a local Sedona tour company. Our bus driver was very knowledgeable of the history, geology, archeology and culture of the local tribes. Also, our Hopi guide on First Mesa was exceptional. Everyone had a great time.... We stopped for a brief visit at the Little Painted Desert outside of Winslow. Then, on to First Mesa for a tour of the pueblos, Second Mesa for lunch at the Hopi Cultural Center, a stop at Oraibi which is purported to be one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements founded before 1100 CE. Finally, on to Tuba City and back to Sedona. Note that the only pictures were at our stop at the Little Painted Desert. This is because pictures on the reservation are prohibited.

10/20 - Almost Halloween at The Asylum: Celebrating Halloween at The Asylum in Jerome is a club favorite this time of the year. They served a great dinner, and a good time was had by all. Check out pictures of the "ambiance".....

11/10 - Kart Racing in Scottsdale: In January, the club outing was go kart racing at Octane Raceway located in Scottsdale. We had such a BLAST, that we did it again this month....! Following an afternoon of tearing up the track, we had another marvelous dinner at The White Chocolate Grill, also located in Scottsdale.
December
12/03 - Cottonwood Christmas Parade: The Sedona Car Club participated in the Cottonwood Christmas Parade for this month's event. Club members look forward to participating every year, depending on the weather. This year was "sunny and bright". Following the parade, we had lunch at Bella Vita Ristorante. Yummy...!
12/13 - Christmas Dinner: This year's annual Christmas party was held at The Golden Goose American Grill. We had a great turnout. As you can see in the following photos, we had lots to discuss, eat and drink. Also, we collected a bunch of new toys that were donated to the Sedona Food Bank.
