January
1/28 - Tour Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center & Dinner at the Keg Steakhouse: Seventeen folks "trekked" to northeast Scottsdale for a private tour the Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center. What an amazing place...! They have bears, bobcats, coatis, coyotes, deer, foxes, a jaguar/leopard hybrid (awesome..! comes to "here kitty, kitty"), Mexican grey wolves, mountain lions, porcupines and raccoons. Some of the pictures are a little blurry because the animals just weren't going to stand still..!
After the fantastic Wildlife Center tour, we had dinner at the Desert Ridge Keg Steakhouse, and it was yummy.
February
2/25 - Wine Tasting at Burning Tree Cellars & Lunch at The Tavern Grille, Cottonwood: A small group enjoyed the spring-like weather (between rain storms) to enjoy a selection of wines offered by Burning Tree Cellars located in Old-Town Cottonwood. Following our wine tasting event, we enjoyed a late lunch on the patio at The Tavern Grille, and it was yummy.
March
3/14 - 45th Annual St Patrick's Day Parade & Lunch at Harry's Hideaway: A beautiful day in paradise to have a parade celebrating St. Patrick's Day. This is an annual event for the Sedona Car Club, and we always have a lively turn-out.....! Following the parade, we cruised on over to Harry's Hideaway. Do not be fooled by the location in tiny Cornville. Harry's is a fantastic place for lunch and dinner...!
3/20-21 - AZ Flywheelers Show and Car Display, Cottonwood: The weather started out a little wet the day before the Arizona Flywheelers show which affected the number of participants from the Sedona Car Club. The show had many interesting antique farm engines, tractor pulls and other fun exhibits. The lawn tractor pull was the most interesting. Imagine a lawn tractor with a 65 hp VW engine pulling a sled...!
3/28 - Litter Lifter
April
4/18 - Sedona Winds Car Display: Another beautiful day in paradise... The Sedona Car Club was back at Sedona Winds with a small car display. We were well received by many of the residents, and ran into some old friends. A number of the residents are former car club members.
May
5/10 - Mother's Day Brunch: Last Mother's Day, we had a little rain and sleet. This year, it was sunny and bright..! A large group of 45 enjoyed dining outside on the patio at The Table at Junipine. The mothers especially enjoyed the raffle provided by restaurant. Our thanks the restaurant staff for a job well done. The club always enjoys coming up to Junipine...!
June
6/8 - Annual Picnic: The annual club picnic was held, again, at the Chavez Crossing Campground. It was an amazing day. The weather was warm, but there was a cool breeze under the sycamore trees. Ahhhhhhhh, sunny day, cool breeze, great picnic food and cold beer (or wine)...! The largest group in many years (55 members and guests) enjoyed the day. This year's picnic was a resounding success because of the last minute efforts by a number of Club members. Many Thanks..!

8/22 - Kachina Point Car Display & BBQ: The club was invited to put on an informal car display at the Kachina Point Rehabilitation Hospital. The weather was a bit warm, but the patients viewing the cars seem to have a great time. Our thanks to the staff at Kachina Point for the opportunity to show off some cars. The great BBQ lunch they provided was greatly appreciated.

November
11/08 - Seven Canyons Car Display & BBQ: The Seven Canyons Golf Resort invited the Sedona Car Club, again, to participate in their members only BBQ mixer event at the new club house. We had a great turnout with many new members participating.

12/08 - Christmas Dinner: This year's annual Christmas party was held at The Golden Goose American Grill. We had a great turnout. As you can see in the following photos, we had lots to discuss, eat and drink. We collected a bunch of new toys that were donated to the Sedona Food Bank.
