This month's event was a tour of the
Copper Art Museum located in the old Clarkdale High
School building. The building is fully restored and houses an amazing collection of copper pieces. There is the complete time-line for the
discovery of copper, use in the military, architecture, distillery, religious, and kitchenware. A truly amazing display and collection. It's worth
going through a second time when one can spend more time.
After the museum tour, we had lunch at
Nate's Cowboy Cafe which was
just around the corner from the museum on Hwy 89A.
Of course, no classic car outing is complete without a minor mechanical hiccup, right David..?
