On Thursday, April 5th, twenty one club members participated in the Full Moon
Tour and dinner at the The Asylum Restaurant in Jerome.
The tour started out under overcast skies, but they cleared by the time dinner was finished. The Asylum is a very interesting
venue located in the Historic Jerome Grand Hotel. The
hotel is located in the upper part of Jerome (5240 feet) with a commanding view of the valley and the red rocks of Sedona. It was
originally constructed as a hospital, and The Asylum was used as the hospital's "mental ward". Rumor has it that ghosts frequent
the hotel, but none in our group will admit to having seen anything out of the ordinary. The food and wine selection at The Asylum is
excellent. The martini's, as well.
